Here's When CT May See Its First Real Snow: December Outlook
A top CT meteorologist has studied long-range weather patterns and gives his prediction on when the state may see its first real snow.

The weekend weather forecast in Connecticut looks very good for late November as temperatures warm up and there will be plenty of sunshine too. NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan says the next ten days in Connecticut look very quiet with plenty of sun and temps running above normal.
And if you're wondering if and when snow may be in the forecast, Hanrahan in a blog post says Connecticut may not see any snow until after the first week of December, based on his look at the long-range weather forecast.
He said after Dec. 7 the jet stream pattern "would really load the dice in favor of snow and cold." He adds, "I think there's a window around 12/10 that will need to be watched closely." (Read Hanrahan's long-range forecast here.)
