Home Burglary Reported In Darien: Police

DARIEN, CT — Police said they are investigating a burglary that occurred recently at a home in Darien.

On Dec. 12 at 4:26 p.m., officers responded to a home on Nearwater Lane.

The reporting party told police that when she arrived home after being away since Nov. 24, she saw an open guest bedroom window. When she closed the window, she noticed it was broken, police said.

The woman also told police that all of her bedroom drawers and closet doors were opened. Detectives were called to the home to process the scene. Police did not say if anything was taken from the home.
