Home Burglary Under Investigation In Darien: Police

Police officers recently responded to a Darien home on a report of a residential burglary.

DARIEN, CT — Darien police said they are investigating a home burglary that was reported on Hollow Tree Ridge Road.

On Jan. 30, police officers responded to an upper Hollow Tree Ridge Road home on a report of a residential burglary.

A woman told police when she entered the home, she noticed a desk drawer was left open, police said. The woman also said she found a rear window smashed and glass scattered on the floor.

Additionally, officers found the master bedroom had been "disturbed." Police said the house had been unoccupied for five days.

It's unclear if anything was taken from the home.
