DARIEN, CT — The town's at-home coronavirus test kit distribution event scheduled for Thursday has been canceled due to a delay in receiving the kits from the state, according to town officials.

In a post on the town's Facebook page, town officials said they received word from Gov. Ned Lamont's office late Wednesday afternoon the expected supply of at-home COVID-19 test kits had not yet arrived in Connecticut.

Due to the delay, a distribution event scheduled to take place Thursday at Darien High School was canceled. Officials also said residents would be notified once the test kits arrived and a new distribution plan is in place.
