Intersection Closed At Middlesex Road, Ox Ridge Lane: Darien Police

DARIEN, CT — The intersection of Middlesex Road and Ox Ridge Lane will be closed for the remainder of the day, the Darien Police Department announced.

Police responded to the intersection Friday morning on a report of power lines on fire and utility poles blocking the roadway, police said. Eversource is currently on scene to make repairs.

According to the Eversource outage map as of 10:05 p.m., 261 customers in the area of the intersection are without power. There is an estimated restoration time of 11:15 a.m.

Anyone traveling in the area is being asked to find alternate routes.
