Julianna Margulies Coming To Darien For Conversation On New Memoir

Actress and author Julianna Margulies is coming to Darien on May 10 to talk about her new memoir "Sunshine Girl: An Unexpected Life."

DARIEN, CT — Actor and author Julianna Margulies is coming to Darien to celebrate the paperback release of her new memoir "Sunshine Girl: An Unexpected Life."

The live in-person event, held jointly by Barrett Bookstore and the Darien Community Association, will take place May 10 at the DCA, located at 274 Middlesex Road.

The event is $30 for DCA members and $40 for the public. The ticket price includes a signed paperback copy of the book and entry for the wine reception at 6:15 p.m.

At 7 p.m., Margulies will have a conversation about her memoir with Darien’s Kristen Harnisch, internationally bestselling author of "The Vintner’s Daughter" and "The California Wife," as well as the soon to be published sequel, "The Vintner’s Legacy."

There will also be a Q&A session with the audience.

As an Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award winner, Margulies has achieved sustained success in television, theater and film. But she has also delved into writing.

"Julianna Margulies, known for her outstanding performances on the groundbreaking television series 'The Good Wife' and 'ER,' deftly chronicles her life and her work in this deeply powerful memoir. Filled with intimate stories and revelatory moments, 'Sunshine Girl' is at once unflinchingly honest and perceptive.
