Laptop Stolen In Burglary At Darien Business: Police

An employee said she discovered the laptop was missing after opening the business one morning, according to police.

DARIEN, CT — A laptop was reported stolen from a Darien business following a burglary earlier this month, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said an employee of the business, located on the Post Road, told officers she discovered the unopened laptop was missing after opening the business Friday morning.

According to Skoumbros, camera footage showed a man enter the office around 6:30 p.m. on March 18 wearing a white ski-type jacket, black pants and a ski mask covering his face.

The incident remains under investigation, Skoumbros said.
