Leigh Parsons Named Blue Wave Girls Soccer Coach
The DHS grad "brings extensive soccer playing and coaching background to the position," athletic director John Keleher said.

Leigh Parsons has been named the new girls soccer coach, athletic director John Keleher announced this week.
Parsons, himself a graduate of DHS, "brings extensive soccer playing and coaching background to the position," Keleher said in a statement.
Parsons has coached for the Darien Soccer Association for ten years and the Blue Wave Kickers program for four years.

"[He] has excellent knowledge of the team and the Darien program," Keleher said.
According to a bio from Eastern Soccer Academy, Parsons previously served as an assistant head coach of Brien McMahon's girls varsity team and head coach of the junior varsity team.

Parsons succeeds Jon Bradley, as head coach of the boys team.
