Letter to the Editor: Support Marks for Selectman

I’d like to communicate my strong endorsement of Susan Marks for Darien Selectman. I had the pleasure of getting to know Susan over the past year when we served on the Darien Fireworks Committee together. We met at a small table in Panera Bread and I liked her instantly. She is an entirely genuine person, thoughtful in her ideas and suggestions and demonstrates terrific drive and initiative. The fireworks involved many different groups in town including the Darien Chamber of Commerce, Board of Education and our police and fire departments. I observed the solid relationships and mutual respect Susan has with the leadership of each group. Susan is a great communicator, smart and a ‘go-getter’ and exactly the type of person I want making decisions for Darien. She will absolutely have my vote in November!
