Luxury Car Stolen From Driveway In Darien: Police

Police said the car was unlocked and a spare set of keys were inside the vehicle when it was stolen, according to police.

DARIEN, CT — A 2020 Mercedes AMG was reported stolen from a driveway in Darien last week, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said a Ridge Acres Road resident reported the car stolen Jan. 25 around 8 a.m.

According to the owner, the car was stolen sometime overnight and was unlocked with a spare set of keys inside the vehicle, Skoumbros said.

The unoccupied car was later found using GPS in Parlin, N.J., and towed from the scene, Skoumbros said.
