Make-A-Monster Workshop for Ages 8 to 12 at Darien Arts Center on October 21st and 28th
Two-session crafty Halloween workshop at DAC with Cathleen Hellman from Darien After Schools Program
Kids ages 8 to 12 can unleash their inner beast and create a cuddly monster at the Make-A-Monster Workshop with Cathleen Hellman at the Darien Arts Center. Hellman, sewing teacher for the Darien After Schools program, will help participants in the spacious well-lit DAC Visual Arts Studio, design a pattern from imagination, and use new sewing skills to bring their creature to life. Projects will go home in time for Halloween decorating. The Make-A-Monster Workshop takes place on October 21 and 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Fee for the 2-day workshop is $80, with no registration fee.
