Police said the incident occurred in June 2022. A 61-year-old man was arrested and charged on March 7.

DARIEN, CT — A Bridgeport man accused of vandalizing a moped at the Noroton Heights Train Station in June 2022 was arrested earlier this month, police said.
On March 7, Darien officers served George Lopez, 61, with an arrest warrant at Stamford Superior Court. The warrant charges Lopez with second-degree criminal mischief and criminal attempt to commit third-degree larceny, a Class D felony.
The warrant stems from an incident that happened on June 10, 2022, police said. A man reported to police that when he returned to the Noroton Heights Train Station he noticed his moped had been vandalized and the chain lock appeared to be cut in half, police said.
