Man Arrested After Darien Mom Brings Drugs to Station: PD

The man was arrested for assaulting his mother, police said.

Darien, CT- A Darien man was arrested after his mother took his suspected drugs and brought them to the police station, according to police.

A woman came to police headquarters June 22 and said she found what she believed were drugs in her son's wallet. Police believe it is a wax fold of used heroin.

She said she took the wallet from Scott Waters, 23, when he tried to conceal it in his pants. A verbal argument started. Waters then grabbed her arm and tried to resist her efforts to take the wallet.

Police noticed she had a bloody scratch on her arm and a scrape on her leg. She said the wounds were old, police said.

Police went to Walmsley Road to investigate and Waters was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.
