
DARIEN, CT- A Stamford man was arrested for DUI after a three-vehicle crash in Darien.
The accident occurred on April 14 and police had to wait for blood results before proceeding with the arrest warrant.
No serious injuries were reported at the accident on Hollow Tree Ridge Road near Red Cedar Road.

Operator George Collazo, 46, appeared glassy-eyed and smelled of alcohol, police said.
Another person involved in the accident said Collazo's vehicle crossed into the southbound traffic lane head-on and collided with his vehicle.

Collazo's vehicle then bounced off and hit a woman's vehicle who was exiting Red Cedar.
Collazo admitted to drinking half a bottle of wine and a beer before driving, police said.
He failed field sobriety tests and originally refused medical treatment, but then was taken to Stamford Hospital after complaining of chest pain.
A search warrant was done for his blood tests and it was determined that he had a BAC of .16 when he was admitted to the hospital.
He was charged with DUI and failure to drive right.
