Man Arrested for DUI After Rollover in Darien: PD

The accident occurred near Darien High School.

DARIEN, CT- A Bridgeport man was arrested after his vehicle struck a utility pole and rolled over, police said.

Officers responded to the April 4 crash on High School Lane and Middlesex Road around 11:41 p.m.

The vehicle was found in the high school parking lot circle. It had hit a curb, left the roadway and struck a utility pole before rolling over, police said.

The driver Remy Rosa-Peralta was sent to the hospital with minor injuries. He admitted to drinking before driving and said he was on his way home to Bridgeport, police said.

Police obtained a search warrant for medical records and found his BAC was .18 when he was admitted to the hospital, according to police.

He recently turned himself in to police and was charged with DWI and posted a $7,500 bond.
