Man Arrested for DUI in Darien

DARIEN, CT- A man was arrested for DUI after police noticed his vehicle had a flat tire.

An officer noticed that a vehicle on the Post Road had a flat tire around 2 a.m. Friday and followed it to a parking lot to see if the operator needed assistance, according to the Darienite.

Timothy Stillwell, 30, told the officer he didn't need help. The officer smelled alcohol on Stillwell's breath.

Stillwell said he was at BJ Ryan's Pub and had a total of four drinks before driving. He failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.
