The two work together at an undisclosed Darien location and dated, but the relationship recently ended, according to police. On the night of the 31st, the two had allegedly argued over Natividad asking the victim for a ride home, which the victim refused to do.

"[The victim] reported that Natividad became angry and physically blocked her exit by holding her shoulders. It wasn’t until the manager became involved that the victim was able to leave, but Natividad followed her to her vehicle. She reported that as she walked to her vehicle, Natividad knocked her hat off of her head, took her cell phone and smashed it, and took her purse and emptied the contents onto the ground. He then began kicking her vehicle as she gathered her belongings. When she confronted him, Natividad struck her in the stomach and attempted to wrestle her to the ground. Natividad regained possession of the victim’s purse and began to walk away on the Post Road. The victim entered her vehicle and caught up to Natividad. When she exited her vehicle to confront him again, Natividad jumped into her vehicle and drove away down the Post Road approximately ½ miles. He then exited the vehicle, locked it, and departed with the keys on foot. Several witnesses corroborated the victim’s story."
