Holly Burwick scored three goals, leading the undefeated New Canaan girls hockey team to a 7-2 victory over Darien on Friday afternoon at the Terry Conners Rink in Stamford.
Olivia Hompe and Madzie Carroll each scored twice for the Rams, who improved to 13-0 overall and 8-0 in the FCIAC.
Sara Shaker and Julia Arrix tallied for Darien, which dropped to 8-4 and 6-2.

After New Canaan took a 4-1 lead after one period, Arrix scored in the first minute of the second to pull the Blue Wave within a pair.
However, New Canaan built its lead to 6-2 after the second period, then scored the only goal in the final period.
