New Crafted Cheddar Debuts at Darien Cheesemonger

Always looking to improve its offerings, a Darien cheese shop has launched an exclusive line of cheddars.

An article in the Darien Times said Darien Cheese & Fine Foods has partnered with Shelburne Farms in Vermont to create a series of traditionally crafted cheddar cheeses.

The store’s proprietors, Ken and Tori Skovron, will unveil the first cheese—Summer Pasture Cheddar—at a day-long event Saturday.

Ken Skovron described the cheese to the Times as a “rich, earthy, beefy, nutty and savory delicious cheddar.”

Darien Cheese & Fine Foods is located in the Goodwives Shopping Center at 25 Old Kings Highway North.
