New Quick-Service Restaurant Plans Filed In Darien
Zoning members generally had positive feedback concerning the application, according to meeting minutes.
DARIEN, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission is considering an application for a quick-service restaurant at 1897 Boston Post Road.
Altitude Darien, LLC, is seeking to sell coffee, beverages, and baked goods in a 2,125-square-foot portion of the first floor space, according to zoning meeting minutes. The other first floor commercial tenant in this building is a kitchen and bath store, which is “by appointment only.”
Officials noted that this should help minimize traffic and parking concerns, meeting minutes state.

"All Commission members agreed that the proposed use for the remaining space is a good use, and based upon the information submitted, will have sufficient on-site parking," meeting minutes state.
A vote is expected at an upcoming meeting.
