Nor’easter May Impact Mother’s Day Weekend In Connecticut
There's not much good news in the 7-day forecast, but at least there won't be snow. Here's the latest details on the weather forecast.

It was so cold in Connecticut Monday morning that extreme northern parts of the state actually saw snowflakes. There really isn't a lot of good news in the upcoming weather forecast. As we move closer to Memorial Day weekend, we won’t see temps exceed 65 degrees this week, and there’s a few more rain chances including a potential Nor’easter for Mother’s Day weekend.
Temps will be downright chilly at night with temps near 40 degrees for several nights this week, and there may be some frost Tuesday morning. The best part of this forecast is we may see the sun on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons wrote, “Sun and clouds today with the chilly feel as high temperatures will only get into the 50s. Could be a quick shower between four and 5 o'clock in the afternoon. More of the same tomorrow with some 60s finally showing up by Wednesday! Also, keep in mind there could be some frost tomorrow morning!”

It actually was cold enough for snowflakes Monday morning, and that's exactly what happened in Norfolk.

“Watching the potential for a nor'easter next weekend. It's not a certainty but something we'll be keeping our eye on. Worst case scenario we'd see a cold rain, gusty winds, and a bit of coastal flooding,” Hanrahan wrote.
