Noroton Yacht Club Neighbors Oppose Liquor Permit
About 50 neighbors have signed a petition.
DARIEN, CT- Neighbors are opposing a liquor permit for the Noroton Yacht Club, which is currently seeking the permit from the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Club members can bring their own alcohol for certain events, according to the Darien Times. Noroton Bay Property Owners Association expressed concern about the safety and 50 signed a petition against the permit.
Club representatives said a club manager would be hired to manage alcohol distribution.
