Maureen Joy (Felicella) Diehl, age 68, of Trumbull, CT, previously of Darien, CT and Stratford, CT, beloved wife of the late Steven Diehl, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Saint Vincent Medical Center. Maureen was born January 12, 1950 in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Joy) Felicella and was a lifetime area resident.

Maureen was a retired customer service representative for Virgin Atlantic in Norwalk, CT and enjoyed crocheting, crafts, attending Celtic Thunder concerts and conversing over tea and cake with her closest friends. A second generation Italian American, Maureen continued the tradition of the weekly Sunday Sauce. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved most of all spending time with her family and two cats, Sadie and Finn. Maureen was very festive and genuinely loved celebrating all holidays with the utmost enthusiasm. She had a full suite of decorations for every holiday and loved sharing the joy of the season, particularly with her grandchildren.
