In its regular-season finale, the Darien High School baseball team dropped the type of game the Blue Wave grew accustomed to losing during the middle of the year.
Trumbull's P.J. Santilli tossed a three-hitter Friday, leading the Golden Eagles to a 1-0 victory over Darien (8-12, 6-10).
Anthony Matera accounted for the game's only run with a home run in the bottom of the third.
