Over $18K Worth Of Flower Vases Stolen From Cemetery: Darien Police
Police said over 45 expensive flower vases were reported stolen from St. John's Cemetery in Darien last week.

DARIEN, CT — Police said approximately $18,800 worth of flower vases were stolen from St. John's Cemetery last week.
On May 10 around 3:15 p.m., officers responded to the cemetery on Camp Avenue on a report of a larceny from the cemetery's mausoleum.
The woman who reported the theft said that a flower vase had been missing from one of the plots inside the mausoleum.

"[The] complainant stated that upon further investigation they discovered that 47 small flower vases had been stolen from the first and second level memorials of the mausoleum," police said in a news release.
The vases were described as cone shaped and made of bronze. Police said they're valued at $400 each.
