Over $4K Worth Of Landscaping Equipment Stolen From Truck: Darien PD

The stolen equipment included a backpack leaf blower, two chainsaws, pole hedge trimmer and a line trimmer, police said.

DARIEN, CT — Police said $4,400 worth of landscaping equipment was stolen from a truck parked in Darien on July 8.

A Darien police officer met with the reporting party on July 13. The man said he parked his work truck and trailer on Dellwood Road on July 8 and performed work at a property between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., police said.

When the man returned to his truck, he noticed someone had stolen some of his equipment including a backpack leaf blower, two chainsaws, pole hedge trimmer and a line trimmer, police added.
