Ox Ridge Elementary School Assistant Principal To Leave District

DARIEN, CT — Christina Ulreich Kean, the longtime assistant principal at Ox Ridge Elementary School, will leave the district and accept a job closer to her home in Easton, according to Darien Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Alan Addley.

Ulreich Kean will be the assistant principal at Samuel Staples Elementary School effective July 1. She first joined Ox Ridge nine years ago as the assistant principal, Addley said.

"During the past decade, Christina has been a popular, hardworking and highly respected administrator," Addley said, noting that he is currently on a child care leave of absence. "The District congratulates Christina on her new appointment and expresses its appreciation for her nine years of effective leadership and service to the Ox Ridge community."

A search for a replacement has commenced and will be overseen by the new Ox Ridge Principal Christopher Melillo, in consultation with the Ox Ridge Interim Principal Dr. Harry Laub, and the Human Resources Department at Central Services.
