Pair Of Bikes Stolen From Train Station In Darien: Cops
Both incidents were reported on the same day last week.

DARIEN, CT — Two bikes, both locked, were reported stolen from the westbound side of the Noroton Heights Train Station on June 26, according to Darien police. Combined, the value of the two bikes was over $1,100.
In the first incident, a $700 Diamonback bike was reported stolen at about 4:45 p.m. The owner had left it locked in the bike rack at about 2 p.m. only to return to find it missing.
"The bike lock that had been used to fasten the front wheel to the bike rack was still there and intact," wrote police in a statement.

The second theft was reported just after 8 p.m. after the owner returned to the station to find it missing. The Larkspur brand bike had been left locked at the station at about 7:30 a.m.
"The bike had been chained to the rack, but the chain was missing as well," wrote police, adding that the bike was valued at $430.
