Pair Of Car Burglaries Reported In Darien: Police

The incidents were reported on April 26 and 28.

DARIEN, CT — Two vehicles were broken into in Darien in separate incidents on April 26 and 28, according to Darien police.

The first one was reported on Plymouth Road on the morning of the 26th when the owner of a 2005 Saab told police that her unlocked car had been entered sometime during the overnight hours.

Though the car's glove compartment was found open and the contents shuffled around, nothing appears to be missing, police said.

In the second incident, an unlocked 2012 Volkswagen GTI on Christie Hill Road reportedly was burglarized sometime during the overnight hours on the 28th.

Again, nothing appears to have been taken, but the glove compartment's contents were rifled through, according to police.
