Pair Of Vehicle Burglaries Reported In Darien: Police
In both cases, the vehicles were unlocked.

DARIEN, CT — A pair of vehicle break-ins were reported in Darien on Aug. 23 and 26, and in both cases, the vehicles had been left unlocked, according to police.
In the first case on the 23rd, a 2016 Land Rover parked at a home on Ridge Acres Road was burglarized, but nothing was taken.
The owner told police that the she found the glove compartment open and its contents on the front passenger seat, but two other locked vehicles parked at the home had not been entered.

In the second case on the 26th, a 2004 BMW 330 was burglarized and clothing was taken from a suitcase that was in the vehicle.
The car had been parked at a home on Noroton Avenue, and the theft is believed to have occurred during the overnight hours of Aug. 21.
