Part of Noroton Avenue Closed This Week in Darien

DARIEN, CT—Noroton Avenue between West Elm Street and Middlesex Road will be closed between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday this week for repairs.

Edgerton Street is posted as a detour.

The daily roadway closure will allow multiple construction crews to work in this stretch of Noroton Ave. installing new water services.

Absent a roadway closure, motorists would be facing up to ten minutes delays to move through the area and this portion of the project would take three weeks.

This closure will allow a condensed work time of five working days.
