PD: $40k in Jewelry Stolen from Darien Home
A couple went out to get groceries and came home to find two teens running away from their house.

About $40,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a Green Leaf Avenue in a reported burglary, police said.
Residents left to go to the store around 4 p.m. on Sept. 19 and said they returned 20 min later. They returned to find two teenage males running toward Christie Hill Road. The house had been left unlocked and the garage door open.
The residents checked the house and noticed that jewelry was missing from a compartment in a desk. Among the missing items were rings, earrings, pendants and necklaces.
