Darien, CT-- A Norwalk woman was arrested after she allegedly crashed into a fence while intoxicated and tried to leave the scene.
On Nov. 24 police were dispatched to the area of Raymond Street and Musket Lane on a report of an accident shortly before 7 p.m. A vehicle was on a slight incline and went through a fence. The 911 caller said the operator was attempting to leave the scene.
Police arrived and spoke to Corinne Tyler, 58, of Norwalk. She told an officer she was find and wanted to go home, police said. She refused to talk to one officer because she thought she wasn’t a real officer.

Tyler almost walked into the road twice while police talked to her, police said. Both times officers had to prevent her from walking into the roadway.
She failed a field sobriety test and a subsequent blood-alcohol test showed levels of .1516 and 1.335, both over the legal limit. She was charged with making an improper turn and driving under the influence.
