Person To Person's 'Rock N' Raise' Benefit Raises $365,000
Proceeds will benefit the mission of Person to Person, the nonprofit based based in Darien.
DARIEN, CT — Person to Person, the nonprofit organization based in Darien that's dedicated to assisting individuals and families in lower Fairfield County, announced this week that it's Rock N' Raise event raised over $365,000 to help those in need.
Nearly 300 guests attended the fundraiser on April 4 at The Loading Dock in Stamford.
During the event, P2P clients Ramon and Gabriela Macassi, along with the 2021 P2P Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship recipient Imani Morgan, shared their heartfelt stories about the impact of P2P on their lives. Their testimonies culminated in a well-deserved standing ovation for Morgan and her mother.

The evening's entertainment was provided by the popular New Jersey cover band, The Nerds.
"The funds raised will significantly bolster P2P's mission to supports families and individuals as they move toward stability with healthy food, clothing, housing assistance, and a path to economic opportunity," P2P said in a news release.
