Police: Small Pet Dog Likely Killed by Coyote in Darien
Darien Police say at this point there is no cause for alarm.

A small dog on Knollwood Lane in Darien was attacked and killed by a coyote in March.
According to police, the incident occurred on March 15 when the Knollwood Lane resident let out her dog in the evening. When the dog did not return she went out to look for it and found it dead on the lawn.
The dog, who was found with four puncture wounds, was examined by a vet who said the dog was most likely killed by a coyote.
