Project Calls for Major Add-ons to Darien High Sport Facilities

DARIEN, CT- Superintendent Dan Brenner presented the master plan for high school sports facilities at a recent Board of Education meeting.

Brenner's plan calls for a running track around the perimeter of the campus, 41 more parking spaces, two more tennis courts and permanent lights for the stadium field, according to the Darienite.

Most of the funds would be raised by the Darien Athletic Foundation.

DAF would present the plan to town lane use boards and then the Planning and Zoning Commission before final approval.
