Registration Open For The Community Fund of Darien’s 2026 Darien Road Race And Family Fun Day

DARIEN, CT — Registration for The Community Fund of Darien’s 2026 Darien Road Race and Family Fun Day is now open.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Pear Tree Point Beach.

Now in its 46th year, the beloved community tradition invites runners, walkers, families, and supporters to raise funds for The Community Fund of Darien’s 2027 grant pool.

The money raised will support local nonprofits that provide neighbors access to basic needs.

Neighbors of all ages and abilities are invited to "Run for a Reason" by participating in the 1.5-mile run/walk at 9 a.m., or the five-mile race at 9:30 a.m.

Throughout the morning, families can enjoy beachside activities under the Family Fun Tent, including games, face painting, prizes, a photobooth, and more.

Last year, the Darien Road Race raised $65,000 to support local nonprofits.
