'Right at Home' Home Health Aide Service Right in Darien

The business was founded in 2010.

For Kaisy Pan, owner and founder of Right at Home, a home health aide business headquartered upstairs at 7 Tokeneke Rd., says her business was able to thrive once her clients believed she had a passion to care for them.

In 2010, Pan founded the business, which was located upstairs from a chiropractor's office. "I struggled for a couple of years until people got to know me on a personal level," she said.

Once enough customers get to know her and realized her commitment to having seniors well cared for, she said, her business started growing.

"What really makes us different is the people we send out to homes," Pan said. "I personally do the background. [...] If I can get a group of people like me, who can care for seniors like me, we can do a lot."

What does Pan look for in hiring aides?

  • "Someone who respects their elders.
  • "Someone who goes out and does a good job.
  • "Someone who represents me, so that it's like me sending myself out there.
  • "I sit down with them. You have to have the passion for it. If they don't have that passion, I don't hire them.

"At the end of the line it's my reputation," Pan said. "It's making sure that seniors are well cared for, that they have a good life."
