Road To Be Closed In Darien Due To Sewer Construction Project: Police
Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of a road closure scheduled for this week related to a sewer construction project in Darien.
DARIEN, CT — Beginning Tuesday, drivers will not be able to access Corbin Drive from the Post Road between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. due to a large volume of construction activity related to a sewer construction project, according to police.
In a news release, Police Capt. Jeremiah Marron Jr. said vehicles needing to access Corbin Drive will be detoured to Center Street, to Old King’s Highway South, to the eastern end of Corbin Drive.
Businesses, including the Post Office, will be open and accessible during the construction, Marron said.

Police will be in the area ensure traffic flows safely and efficiently. Drivers who do not need to access the area should consider alternate routes to their destination, Marron said.
