Road Closed Due To Downed Tree, Power Lines: Darien PD

DARIEN, CT — Mansfield Avenue (Rte. 124) is closed at Half Mile Road in Darien due to a downed tree and power lines, police said Monday morning on Twitter. Drivers are asked to seek out alternate routes.

A High Wind Warning is in effect for all of Connecticut Monday. The National Weather Service says, we can expect "strong, damaging winds" today, and it will also be a bit windy on Tuesday too. (To sign up for Darien breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
