DARIEN, CT — The phone line issue that plagued the Darien Police Department for most of Friday has been corrected, according to an update from police.

The town IT Department worked on the issue for most of Friday. The 911 emergency number remained fully functional throughout the day.

Police did not say what caused the interruption in service.
