Run For The Darien RTM As A Write-In Candidate
According to the town, roughly 50 percent of the seats on the RTM are available on the ballot each year.
DARIEN, CT — Residents looking to join town government can run for a seat on the Representative Town Meeting as a write-in candidate through Oct. 17.
The 100-person legislative body represents the town's six voting districts. According to the town, roughly 50 percent of the seats are available on the ballot each year.
"The RTM meets monthly, from September through June, with subcommittees meeting independently during this time, as work is needed," the town said in a Facebook post.
