The Salt Cave Of Darien Opens Next Week

DARIEN, CT - From The Salt Cave of Darien: Opening next week, The Salt Cave of Darien will be the new natural form of relaxation. Owner and resident of Darien, Arianne O’Donnell Schuck, has created the ultimate in healing and relaxation using the all natural effects of Himalayan salts, negative ions, and soothing music.

The concept is a simple – to create an environment that people can come to relax and absorb the benefits of the pink Himalayan salt and negative ions. The process of absorbing these minerals is called Halotherapy, which is known to relieve respiratory and skin conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, snoring and skin rashes.

Once you walk through the door of the Salt Cave of Darien you are immediately greeted by layers of beautiful pink Himalayan salt covering the walls and floor. The Cave’s most stunning feature is their fish tank-like salt brine “cascade” which emits additional salt into the air for extra health benefits. There will be a retail space that will sell items such as salt lamps, salt beauty products which are ordered directly from the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland, and other salt related products in the future.

The Salt Cave of Darien will offer regular relaxation sessions as well as yoga and meditation classes. Sessions for children six months and older will also be available allowing them to play in the salt and listen to enjoyable music. The Cave can also be rented out for private parties, family gatherings, or any event for up to 12 people. All who want to experience the rejuvenating effects are encouraged to make reservations.

Salt Cave of Darien will be located at 555 Boston Post Road. Reservations are highly recommended and the Salt Cave will be open Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday 10a.m. - 12p.m.
