Senior Darien PD Official Puts in Retirement Papers

DARIEN, CT- Another senior police official has announced that he will retire in the new few months.

Lt. Ronald Bussell, commander of the detective division along with his wife Nancy a clerk in records have put in for their retirement, according to the Darienite.

Chief Duane Lovello said Bussell has set the bar high and he is a tremendous asset to the department that will be missed. Bussell will retire May 31.

Recently Capt. Gary Pavia retired. He was the head of the patrol division. A number of examination are scheduled for most ranks in the department.
