Several Bikes Stolen from Darien Train Station: PD

In all three cases the bicycles were securely locked.

DARIEN, CT—Police are investigating three reports of bicycles stolen from the Noroton Heights train station.

In all three cases the bikes were locked to a bike rack on the westbound side of the tracks.

A $600 custom bicycle was taken around 9 a.m. Sept. 7. A male crook cut the locked cable and left the station with the bicycle, police said. The incident was caught on camera.

Two bicycles were reported stolen Sept. 9. Video showed a suspect stealing a $450 Diamondback bicycle around 1:05 p.m. A male suspect came off of an eastbound train and drove off with the stolen bike.

Another Diamondback bike was taken around 10:22 a.m. The incident was very similar to the other incident from the same day.
