Several Car Burglaries Reported in Darien
A laptop, loose change and other items were reported stolen in various reports.

DARIEN, CT—Police are investigating several motor vehicle burglaries.
A Macbook Pro was reported stolen on Nov. 8 from a vehicle in the Darien High parking lot. The laptop was found on Norton Avenue and had apparently been tossed out of a moving vehicle. It was in working order, but slightly damaged.
Also on Noroton Avenue about $7 in loos change was taken from a vehicle Nov. 12. Other items in the car were disturbed, but not taken.
Also Nov. 12 a backpack containing about $350 worth of men's clothing was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the Darien ice rink. A woman said she saw a 60-year-old woman wandering around and attempting to open vehicle doors. The woman wasn't located by police.
That wasn't the only activity Nov. 12. A vehicle was burglarized on Revere Road, but nothing taken. An iPod Nano was taken from a vehicle on Intervale Road. It is valued at $100.
In all cases vehicles were left unlocked.
