Sewer Work To Begin In Darien On Old Kings Highway South Wednesday
Construction is expected to last several months.
DARIEN, CT — Extensive sanitary sewer work will begin Wednesday on Old Kings Highway South in Darien, the town announced.
Work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and is scheduled to continue through January 2023.
The work area for the project includes all of Quaker Road and Old Kings Highway South from the intersections of Quaker Lane to Andrews Drive.

Police will be on site for traffic control, and residents will have access to their homes in the area at all times, the town said, noting that a detour of traffic is not anticipated but may become necessary.
School bus traffic will be given priority through the area and roads will remain open to emergency services, the town said.
