Sexual Assault Accusation Leveled In Lawsuit Against Darien High School Grad: Report

The families of two teenage girls claim the male teen sexually assaulted the girls in 2015.

DARIEN, CT — A civil lawsuit has been filed against an 18-year-old Darien High School graduate accusing the boy of sexually assaulting two teenage girls in 2015, reports the Stamford Advocate.

In one case, the boy is accused of twice sexually assaulting one girl, 16 years old at the time, and then attempting to sexually assault another girl, who was 17 at the time, several weeks later, according to the publication. The civil lawsuit was filed by Greenwich attorney Philip Russell on behalf of the families of the two girls.

The first case was investigated by Darien police, but charges were not filed due to an alleged lack of evidence, and the second case was not reported to police, writes the Advocate.
