Start Date Announced For Driveway Improvements At Darien's Great Island
Access hours at Great Island may shift as work on the driveway progresses, the town said.
DARIEN, CT — The Town of Darien announced this week that improvements to the main driveway at Great Island will begin on Monday, June 16.
As a result, the island will be closed to the public on weekdays before 4 p.m., the town said. Weekend access from dawn to dusk will continue as usual throughout the project.
Access hours may shift as work on the driveway progresses, the town said, noting it will share updates if the schedule changes.
