State Rep Candidate Visits with Darien Businesses
Randy Klein, candidate for State Representative, took time to discuss issues facing the local economy with area business leaders.
From a Darien Patch reader:
Darien - On Monday afternoon, Randy Klein met with a number of Darien businesses to take further stock of the issues that face the local economy.
“As a small business owner, I know the challenges that face the business community,” said Klein. “Today, I had the opportunity to hear what business owners in Darien need from our leadership in Hartford. What I heard was a real desire to move past partisanship and to work for real solutions to turn our state’s finances around. We need to get our state and our community back to business.”

Trask Pfeifle, the owner of EPOD said, “Look I am a registered Republican but will be more than happy to support any candidate that’s going to get things done.” Pfeifle continued, “For anyone that has been in office that long, we should look to give someone else a chance.”

Pfeifle and other business owners were pleased that Klein had visited them, especially on such a rainy day. Pfeifle said. “I really appreciate your stopping by. None of the current elected officials have ever done that.”
Klein has filed paperwork to challenge Rep. Terrie Wood for the 141st state House district, which includes Darien and Rowayton.
